Responder Resiliency Training
Description
Milford Ambulance Service is hosting a Responder Resiliency class presented by the NH Department of Health & Human Services’ Disaster Behavioral Health Coordinator, Jennifer Schirmer. The class will be held on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at the Milford Ambulance Service Community Room, located at 66 Elm Street, Milford NH from 0800-1200.
This four hour class provides information and resources intended to support all first responders who encounter crisis situations on a daily basis. Among these topics is the current substance misuse epidemic and associated overdoses. These tools should help enable the student to be more aware of how they and fellow first responders may react to both acute and chronic exposure to crisis situations.
Please register by following the link below. Registration will be open until Saturday, February 25th 2017 or until the maximum class size is met. Class size is limited to 30 so please register as soon as possible.
